Product Management
I led our efforts to make learning accessible and exciting for our global student base.
My key responsibilities included:
- Meeting regularly with the CEO to define the product vision
- Collaborating closely with learning designers, teachers, engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products
- Developing a pedagogical approach that translates to an enriching learning experience for students around the world
- Managing the product team to evaluate product metrics tracking & data, build alignment, and drive product initiatives
- Leading the process of maintaining quarterly and monthly prioritization and roadmaps
- Running sprint plans, demos, and retros
- Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scoping and ruthlessly prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact
- Creating product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Maintaing sustainable balance of team resources and time

I transformed the company by introducing a robust organizational design - I developed a management structure for the first time in the company’s history and introduced mentorship and accountability structures.
Additionaly, I led an equity project with cultural strategy expert Ben Jackson to ensure fair, researched pay for all employees. I successfully hired over ten talented teammates who aligned with our vision and values.
